Question:
I have a question regarding the Excel Dump done from the software. I cannot find the time stamp in it or the sample time. Also, when I change the Real Time Recorder value in Ksamples/per seconds. I suppose, I cannot see any change in the generated Excel File. Is there a relation between the time stamp (or sample time) in the Excel File and the Time Base chosen?
Answer:
In the software, there are three commands to save data as excel file:
1:Save|Save as Txt: Here is saving current waveform/data displayed on the current screen. We can save the data at the auto/normal/single mode or the hold mode. The saved file only records the date and time while we execute the command.
Data From DSO2300 Date 2007-5-7 Time 11:25:32 Unit V A B 0.600 0.200 0.600 0.000
2.Tools|Real Time Record As Txt: The information of the start time and the sampling rate is saved at the header of the saved file.
Data From DSO2300 Start Date 2007-5-7 Start Time 11:36:08 Unit V Sampling Rate 25 KS/S A B 0.600 0.000 3.Tools|Low speed Real Time Record As Txt: In this command, the stamp is saved.
Data From DSO2300 Start Date 2007-5-7 Start Time 11:10:35 Unit V Sampling Interval 1s No. Date Time A B 1 2007-5-7 11:10:44 0.600 -0.200 2 2007-5-7 11:10:45 0.600 -0.200 |
