| Update <--- 〖Reply to this〗 |
| Ooops. Ignore the kernel version number. It seems to be in a 2.6.35 release.
See: http://retis.sssup.it/~scordino/projects/atmel_serial_rs485.html I might try applying this patch to the 2.6.24 kernel that ships on the CD. * Posted by: gjatnz 2010-6-12 19:33:57 * |
| Update - again <--- 〖Reply to this〗 |
| I"ve just tried applying the patch to the 2.6.24 kernel and there are some
differences that I"m unsure about. The patch seems to apply to a version of atmel_serial.c that has DMA support in it, where the one in that comes on the CD (2.6.24) kernel does not. Any ideas on the best combination of kernels and patches would be appreciated. * Posted by: gjatnz 2010-6-12 20:56:58 * |
| LCD issues with kernel built from CD source <--- 〖Reply to this〗 |
| Hi,
Just a note for anyone else that might run into issues with the LCD flickering and scrolling after rebuilding a kernel from the CD source for a SBC6000X with a 7 inch screen. I found that I had to edit board_sbc9261.c (under arch/arm/mach-at91), and change the pixclock setting from being declared as "KHZ2PICOS(33333)", which gate a dot-clock rate of 33.333MHz as reported by "fdset" on the console, to "KHZ2PICOS(24832)", for a dot-clock rate of 24.832MHz, which the original kernel shipped on the boards seemed to have.
