STM103R100 Evaluation Board
The ARM Cortex-M3 processor is the latest generation of ARM processors for embedded systems. It has been developed to provide a low-cost platform that meets the needs of MCU implementation, with a reduced pin count and low-power consumption, while delivering outstanding computational performance and an advanced system response to interrupts. The ARM Cortex-M3 32-bit RISC processor features exceptional code-efficiency, delivering the high-performance expected from an ARM core in the memory size usually associated with 8- and 16-bit devices.
The STM32F103RBT6 microcontroller is among STM32F103xx Performance Line family, which incorporates the high-performance ARM Cortex-M3 32-bit RISC core operating at a 72 MHz frequency, high-speed embedded memories (Flash memory up to 128Kbytes and SRAM up to 20 Kbytes), and an extensive range of enhanced I/Os and peripherals connected to two APB buses. All devices offer two 12-bit ADCs, three general purpose 16-bit timers plus one PWM timer, as well as standard and advanced communication interfaces: up to two ICs and SPIs, three UARTs, an USB and a CAN.
The STM103R100 evaluation board incorporates the new generation STMicroelectronics' STM32F103RBT6 (Cortex-M3) microcontroller and integrates UART, CAN, USB, LCD, SD, Jtag and more functions on board. The board is provided with plenty of software examples, which can be used in Keil MDK environment. It would be an excellent device for evaluating or prototyping platform based on the STM32F103RBT6 microcontroller.
